1.5" round pin with fired enamel color on gold tone base metal. Outer black border has UTICA, NY in Russian, Bosnian and Arabic and "A NEW BEGINNING" at the bottom. Center design features Utica's mini Statue of Liberty replica on pedestal and surrounded by flowers. Behind it is representatives of the community segments that support the Refugee Resettlement Program; Bank, Church, School, Business, and City Government (represented by the Bob Hope Memorial Clock Tower). A blue sky with gold stars and yellow moon features "UTICA, NY".

Celebrates the importance of refugees in the growth of Utica and Central New York. Utica was designated "The City That Loves Refugees" by the UN High Commission on Refugees.
